Bay River Ballroom is Pamlico County's Ballroom. You will dance to the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Buble, and much more. Dance your way to Health & Happiness!

Types of Lessons Offered:

Group Lessons
- These lessons provide an exposure to many dances at a very reasonable cost. Generally, group lessons are $10 per person or $17 per couple per lesson. The classes usually run for 4 weeks, then a new group lesson class begins.
Private Lessons
- Private lessons allow the student to accelerate their dance learning experience. It gives the student and teacher the ability to concentrate on the strength and weaknesses of the individual or couple. Private lessons are $30 per hour for an individual or for a couple. Private lessons are by appointment.
Private Groups
- This concept allows for 2 or 3 couples (maximum) to enjoy a lesson that offers a good degree of individual attention while sharing the cost of accelerated learning. The couples should all be at the same level of dance skill. Private Group lessons are offered for $36 per hour. (For 2 couples this breaks down to $18 or, for 3 couples , $12 each couple). Private Group lessons are by appointment.

Open Dances:

Bay River Ballroom will be hosting open dances on selected Fridays. These are ballroom dances that are open to all. Come for an evening of great dancing and socializing with your friends. Make new friends who also share a passion for ballroom dance. The music, ambiance and snacks are sure to please all. Admission is just $9 per person. On some nights, a free lesson is included. A partner is not required for these dances.
